2: Daydream
The next morning, I woke up to the sun shining in through the cave opening. Its rays of light warmed my bits and roused me from the deep slumber I had been in. I slowly open my eyes, allowing them to adjust to the light, before looking around. I was still resting between Ty’s optical housings. Said T-trux was still snoozing soundly, though I did not doubt that the rising sun would wake him soon enough. I decided to remain where I was, seeing no need to get up yet since Ty was still asleep and there were no plans this morning. My thoughts drift to last night, and what had come to light in the dark of night. Ty had said he loved me, and I doubt it was in the “just friends” way. I had not said it back at the time, slightly shocked by the confession, but I had told him that I accepted him as he was. And I do, there is nothing wrong with who he has an interest in, ‘even if it is out of the ordinary’, but I do not know how I feel about it quite yet. As if sensing that I was thinking
